Workshop on Nutrient Management in Aquaculture Value Chains

On 29 April 2026, the Murcia Regional Cluster of the NPower project will host an online workshop focused on the identification of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for nutrient management in the aquaculture sector.

The session will follow a practical and participatory approach, aiming to identify, discuss and validate real practices related to the management of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) in the region. Existing examples will be reviewed, and an open dialogue will be encouraged to incorporate additional practices adapted to the aquaculture context.

The workshop will combine technical contributions with a collaborative working session, where participants will be able to share their experience, identify common challenges, and contribute to building a set of practices with potential for application and replication.

The event is addressed to stakeholders across the aquaculture value chain in the Region of Murcia, including companies, public authorities, researchers and other professionals in the sector.
