Workshop on Nutrient Management in Water and Waste Systems

On 25 March 2026, the Murcia Regional Cluster of NPower will host an online workshop focused on identifying and improving Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the water and waste management sector.

The session will take a practical and participatory approach, aiming to review, share and expand existing practices related to nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) management in the region. Participants will work with real examples of BMPs already identified, assessing their applicability and identifying new opportunities adapted to local conditions.

Throughout the workshop, stakeholders will exchange experiences, identify common challenges, and contribute to building a shared framework of best practices to improve nutrient use efficiency and support more circular and sustainable systems.

The workshop is open to professionals from the water and waste sector, public authorities, researchers, and other stakeholders involved in resource management and environmental sustainability in the Region of Murcia.
