Building circular systems for water and waste in Ireland

On 29 October 2025, the Irish Regional Cluster of NPower will host the launch workshop for the Water & Waste MAT, at the University College Dublin.

The session will bring together water and waste professionals, regulators, environmental management organisations, government representatives, waste management companies and community groups for a day of discussion and collaboration.

Participants will explore how the water and waste sectors can contribute to a circular economy of nutrients and identify opportunities for reducing nitrogen and phosphorus losses through innovation and coordination. Guest speakers will include experts from BioCore Environmental (Renewable Energy and Anaerobic Digestion) and the UCD School of Chemical and Process Engineering.
