Stakeholder Workshop on Circular Bioeconomy Skills

On 25 February 2026, BioScaleUP and the Circular Bioeconomy Education Centre (CBEC) will host a stakeholder workshop focused on skills development for Ireland’s agri-food transition.

The session will address the current and future skills requirements needed to support a profitable bio-based economy, where biological resources are used in a cascading and circular manner.

Participants will explore challenges faced by farmers, primary producers and processors in adopting circular bio-based innovations, and will co-create solutions to strengthen training, policy support and innovation capacity.

NPower encourages stakeholders engaged in nutrient management and circular bioeconomy systems to participate and connect with this broader skills development dialogue.
