On 19 November 2025, the Irish Regional Cluster of NPower will host the launch workshop for the Marine Multi-actor transition group, at Blackrock Castle Observatory.
This session will bring together representatives from Ireland’s marine sector, including government agencies, aquaculture and blue biotech companies, fishing and coastal communities, and research institutions. The event aims to explore opportunities for closing nutrient loops within the blue economy and supporting sustainable growth in coastal and marine industries.
The workshop will feature a presentation from Nutramara Ltd, alongside an introduction to the NPower project and Regional Cluster roadmap. Participants will take part in an interactive group session to co-create nutrient flow maps for the marine sector, analysing inputs, outputs, drivers and barriers to nutrient management.
