Bringing experience, new perspectives and innovation together for a resilient agri-food sector
What does the future of Irish agriculture look like, and who will help shape it?
On 7 October, NPower, the Cantillon Academy and DOT.Green at Munster Technological University (MTU) will bring together farmers, researchers, advisors and other stakeholders to explore one of the key challenges facing agriculture and the wider agri-food sector: generational renewal.
The workshop will look at the connections between farm succession, the next generation of farmers, research and innovation, business development and circularity, creating space for participants to share their own experience and perspectives.
By bringing different generations and areas of expertise into the same conversation, the session will explore what is needed to support a resilient and sustainable future for Irish agriculture and local communities.
