Workshop on Best Practices for Circular Farming Systems

On 23 March 2026, the Finnish Regional Cluster will host an online workshop focused on improving nutrient use efficiency in agriculture through Best Management Practices (BMPs).

The session will review practices identified through research and regional experience, with a focus on reducing nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) losses while enhancing nutrient recycling.

Participants will explore practices related to crop production, livestock management, manure handling, and soil management. The workshop will include presentations and an interactive session to identify new or underutilised practices that can support more circular and efficient agricultural systems.
