Water and Waste Management for Improved Nutrient Recovery

Water & Waste Multi-Actor Workshop

On 30 April 2026, BiOrbic and the NPower Irish Regional Cluster will co-host an in-person workshop at UCD focused on nutrient recovery in water and waste management systems.

The session will present Best Management Practices (BMPs) identified through NPower and invite participants to contribute additional examples from practice. The objective is to strengthen circular nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) recovery pathways while connecting research, policy and implementation.

The workshop will combine collaborative sessions and networking opportunities, including a dedicated lunch for in-person participants at UCD Belfield.

This initiative strengthens the Irish multi-sector dialogue under NPower and supports the transition toward circular nutrient systems in water and waste infrastructures.
